Internet Truckstop^® has launched "FileCheck", a new service that allows carriers to store their carrier setup information electronically with the Internet Truckstop^®. Brokers and shippers can now access this information on-line with the ability to download your documents directly off of the Internet Truckstop^® website. FileCheck is another Internet Truckstop value-added service at no cost to brokers and carriers.

In order to participate in FileCheck simply fax us a copy of your Operating Authority Permit, Certificate of Insurance, and your W-9 information "WITHOUT" your social security number or tax I.D. number. NOTE: Only W-9's that DO NOT include your Tax I.D. Number or your Social Security Number will be processed. This is a security measure to protect participating carriers from the increased threat of identity theft. Carriers should add their tax I.D. or social security numbers to their W-9 and return them to brokers at the time they have accepted a load and are returning a signed load agreement.

We will store your documents electronically and make them available to brokers and shippers upon demand. No more expensive per page fax charges from truck stops or having to wait until brokers get your paperwork to give you a load. FileCheck makes your Carrier Set-Up Information available on-line and on demand.

Participating carriers will be easily identified with a √ (check-mark) symbol on their truck posting details page and on their Carrier Performance Reporting (CPR) report indicating to brokers and shippers that your carrier set-up documents are available.

Participating carriers will also be automatically notified by email when their Certificate of Insurance is 30-days from expiration so that a replacement document can be faxed to the Internet Truckstop and the FileCheck database updated. It is also important for participating carriers to remember to fax updated documents in the event of any changes that affect their insurance, authority or W-9 information.
